Benjamin Damage is an innovative UK techno artist and the first artist signed to Modeselektor’s legendary 50Weapons label. This period produced three critically acclaimed albums and many EPs, drawing from diverse sources to help define the crossover UK / Berlin techno sound. After the closure of the label he signed to R&S to release the classic “Montréal” EP. Performing on an all-hardware setup, Benjamin’s storming live performances have lit up clubs and festivals all around the world. The newest incarnation was unleashed with full power in Berghain at the very end of 2019. Following his highly charged 4-track debut for Len Faki’s Figure label, Benjamin brought in 2020 with two stinging dance floor cuts as BDB, a secret collab with label mates. BDB “Boss Rhythm / Niio Rhythm” was released on Feel My Bicep. 2020 brought in releases on ARTS and Figure. Covid has put a stop to all touring but new music and new live experiments will be in place for 2021.
