It probably comes as no surprise to anyone who knows Sound Shelter that we are huge fans of Theo Parrish and his Sound Signature label.
Since it’s inception back in 1997 with Parrish’s “Musical Metaphors”, the label has gone on to release music from some of the world’s finest underground artists including Alton Miller, Byron The Aquarius, Omar S, Specter, as well as 3 Chairs – the Detroit house supergroup featuring Moodymann, Rick Wilhite, Marcellus Pittman, and Parrish himself.
As a homage to the inspirational music that’s come out over the last 20 years, we’ve gathered together a 23+ hour Spotify playlist of the Sound Signature back catalogue for you to stream.
